XRC-2... Gear sprockets opening/seperating on hard Acceleration.
This fix is simple and has worked for me great.
BE WARNED: This can only be done with STEEL gears NOT Plastic.

So your XRC-2 keeps stripping gears?
Gears are coming apart or slipping on hard throttle?
HAVE A LOOK AT THIS SOLUTION THAT I FOUND WORKS WELL FOR ME.

Ok your XRC comes with standard plastic gears - These need replacing to do this modification.
In the photo above you can see the arrow pointing to a silver washer.

This washer is 1MM.
Simply loosen all 3 bolts, then remove just the bolt that you are going to put the washer under.
Once you have the washer in place, tighten all the bolts back up and your finished.

This tilts the gear shaft, bringing the gears really close together. Both on this side shown in the photo AND on the other
side which goes to the differential.
Even on full throttle i have found that it does not open enough to slip & strip.

NOTE: If you had screeching or rattling drive components i have found that this modification quietens this down.

BE AWARE THAT IF YOU GO ANY HIGHER THAN 1MM WITH THE WASHER THE EXCESSIVE
FORCE WILL BREAK THE PLASTIC/NYLON WALL THAT HOLDS THE GEAR & CLUTCH BELL SHAFTS.
